Put a job on a lorry and see when it will get there.
One lane per lorry, timed on real road journeys from your yard. Drop a stop where you want it and the lane re-times itself. A job agreed between eleven and one shows how many minutes it has to spare.

Waste tracking
The Defra receipt and the transfer note, from one weighing.
Every load that comes back is weighed and coded on the bridge. From that one record SkipDeck builds the Defra receipt, holds it back while anything is missing, and drafts the transfer note for your customer.

Load Defra’s reply back in and every receipt shows accepted or rejected, with its Waste Tracking ID on the job. One changed after it went out is marked for the next file.
What each receipt holds
- An EWC code for each part of the load
- Weight per line, weighed or estimated
- Hazardous property (HP) codes on the item that actually carries them
- Persistent organic pollutants (POPs)
- Container type, and how many
- The carrier, their registration, and where the waste came from
- The recovery or disposal route each line went to
The transfer note
Drafted from the weighbridge record when the collection is finished. Print one or a run, or email it to the customer from the job. Once issued it is on their portal too.
Where SkipDeck stands with Defra
You can report with it today. SkipDeck builds Defra’s receipt-of-waste spreadsheet and loads Defra’s reply back onto each job.
Sending straight to Defra is built too. Defra granted SkipDeck production access on 10 September 2026, and it is switched on for your firm once you have your own Defra API code. Nothing goes to Defra until somebody presses the button.

I’m Michael Doherty. I ran a skip hire company in Coventry for nine years before I wrote any of this.
I never found software that suited the way the work goes, so I built it.
